I purchased the 32x32 decal. It arrived as 2 decals each one half of the image. The instructions call for taping it in place and removing the backing paper in place. I didn't follow the directions I removed the backing completely while I had it on a quartz counter next to where I was going to install it. I had to coax the decal in a few places with the point of a razor knife when it wanted to stay attached to the backing instead of coming off on the front transfer sheet (especially the dashed line) not difficult but I think it would have been harder with it taped in place. Fortunately I got the two lined up just right and it turned out looking great.
